Do you know the cause of common failure of pile driver and the method of elimination?

Pile driver is composed of pile hammer, pile frame and auxiliary equipment. The pile hammer is attached to the front of the pile frame between two parallel vertical guide rods (commonly known as gantry), and is lifted with lifting hooks. The pile frame is a steel structure tower, and a hoist is provided in the rear part for lifting pile and pile hammer. In front of the pile frame, there is a guide frame composed of two guide rods to control the direction of pile driving, so that the pile can penetrate into the stratum accurately according to the design orientation. The basic technical parameters of pile driver are weight of impact part, impact kinetic energy and impact frequency. Pile hammer according to the power source of movement can be divided into drop hammer, steam hammer, diesel hammer, hydraulic hammer, etc.

Common fault causes of pile driver and troubleshooting method:

1. The oil pump does not rotate

Reason: did not hang up oil pump coupling device.

Elimination method: step down the clutch to hang the oil pump engagement device.

2, the multi-way valve does not return to the middle position

Cause: The return spring is damaged.

Elimination method: replace the return spring.

3, the multi-way valve operation laborious

Cause: Iron filings or dirt into the valve stem.

Elimination method: Remove iron filings or dirt.

4. Slow frequency operation weak

Reason: a. Nitrogen leakage, insufficient pressure; b. Insufficient hydraulic oil; c. The oil filter is blocked; d. Pump suction oil; e. Safety valve failure or low adjustment pressure; f. The cylinder seal is poor; g. Oil pump leakage; h. Hydraulic oil type is wrong;

A. a. Use nitrogen manometer to check and maintain nitrogen pressure at 1.2Mpa; b. Supplement hydraulic oil; c. Remove blockage, cleaning or replacement; d. Solve the suction pipe leakage or dry suction pipe, can not form a vacuum to fill the suction pipe with oil; e. Replace the relief valve spring or adjust the pressure to 15.5Mpa; f. Check or replace the sealing ring; g. Pressure plate wear or shaft seal and seal ring damage, to be replaced, pay attention to the installation of oil pump can not make the spindle axial force; h. According to the different seasons, replace the designated type of hydraulic oil;

5. Hydraulic hammer hammer rod does not act

Reason: a. Incorrect connection between pressure oil and oil return circuit; b. Pipe joint blocked liquid supply interrupt; c. Hydraulic system pressure is too low; d. The accumulator pressure exceeds 1.3Mpa or the accumulator pressure is too low; e. Hydraulic hammer internal reversing spool or impact plunger stuck;

A. a. Check and adjust; b. Check the oil circuit of the liquid supply system to remove blockage; c. Check the oil supply pressure to make the working pressure meet the requirements; d. Check that the accumulator nitrogen pressure is maintained at 1.2MPa; e. Remove and clean to check whether there are any strained parts, carefully remove burrs with oil stones, polishing so that the spool and impact plunger can move flexibly;

6. Hydraulic hammer impact can be significantly reduced, the impact frequency is also reduced

Reason: a. The accumulator pressure is lower than 0.8Mpa; b. High back pressure caused by oil return circuit blockage; c. The hammer rod is stuck at the lower part of the hammer or the hammer rod handle is broken and the plunger reaches the braking area before it collides with the head of the hammer rod. d. The oil supply pressure is too low, the flow rate is too low;

A. a. Check the pressure of the supplementary accumulator; b. Check the pipeline and oil passage to ensure that the back pressure does not exceed 0.5MPa; c. Remove the hammer rod, eliminate the stuck phenomenon or replace the hammer rod; d. Check the oil pump and safety valve to make the working flow and pressure meet the requirements;

7. External leakage

Reason: a. The joint is loose or the sealing ring is damaged; B. The lower cylinder body is damaged due to Y-ring damage;

A. a. Replace the sealing ring and tighten the joint screws; b. Replace the sealing ring;

8. The accumulator is leaking

Reason: a. Inflatable plug or check valve seal ring damaged; b. The dynamic or static sealing ring of the upper cylinder liner is damaged; c. The seal ring on the cylinder head is damaged;

Elimination method: replace the sealing ring.
